Social & Emotional Learning/ Aprendizaje social y Emocional

Parents, I'm a parent as well, though our boys are grown and off doing their own part to make the world a better place. That said, I'll never stop worrying about them. Social/Emotional Learning is a method that has garnered tremendous success and teacher support in the last few years. Such programs have a proven success rate in minimizing bullying, increasing morale, raising grades, empowering students with greater confidence, and lowering incidents of violence. I will be working with my colleagues to support such learning throughout the year, and I've included a few websites below so you may better familiarize yourself with the concepts and opportunities.
