Netiquette

We addressed bullying in the Classroom Expectations Page. However, demonstrating proper etiquette online (Netiquette) is also important. I expect you all to behave as caring human beings who display the following expectations at all times on the internet:

  • ·         If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, don’t say it online.
  • ·         Don’t post something you wouldn’t want me or your parents to see—because eventually we will.
  • ·         “Channel” the coolest person you know, the one who has no need to be cruel or prove him/herself. Treat people like they would.
  • ·         Be forgiving, especially if someone makes a mistake or gets an answer wrong.
  • ·         Treat others the way you’d like you and your friends to be treated.
  • ·         Respect others opinions, even if you don’t agree. We can always talk through differences of opinion.
